4 cups flour
½ cup sugar
1 tps baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup raisins
½ tsp salt
Mix dry ingredients
1/4 pound butter
1 egg
1 ½ cup buttermilk
Cream butter then blend in the eggs and buttermilk.
Add wet to dry and mix well.
For bread, bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
For scones, make about 25 and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
